Cameron Crowe’s latest film, We Bought a Zoo staring Scarlett Johansson and Matt Damon is not making PETA very happy. PETA has issued a letter to Crowe stating that his film portrays an unrealistic relationship between  humans and wild animals. They have requested that he display a warning at the end of the film explaining that wild animals are in fact quite dangerous and require special training to handle. They have also requested that 20th Century Fox include a warning in all promotional material.

We Bought a Zoo is based off a memoir by Benjamin Mee about a family that moves out to the countryside to restore a struggling Zoo. The film was co-written and directed by Crowe (Almost Famous, Jerry Maguire).
